Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we aim to make your shopping experience smooth and enjoyable.

Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.


1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and unworn.

  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, with tags, labels, and invoice intact.

  • The return request must be raised within 7 days of receiving the order (unless otherwise stated).

Items not eligible for return include:

  • Sarees or garments that have been customized, altered, or stitched upon request.

  • Sale or discounted items (unless defective or damaged).

  • Accessories (e.g., blouses, petticoats, jewelry) for hygiene reasons.


2. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our Customer Care team at support@bharatiyasarees.com within the eligible return period.

  2. Provide your Order ID, reason for return, and product photos (if applicable).

  3. Once your request is approved, we will provide the return shipping address or arrange a pickup (where available).

  4. Pack the product securely to prevent any damage during transit.

Note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.


3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (e.g., bank, card, UPI, wallet).

  • In some cases, we may offer a store credit or exchange instead of a refund, based on your preference.

Refunds will not be approved if:

  • The product is found used, washed, or tampered with.

  • Tags or original packaging are missing.

  • The return is initiated beyond the 7-day window.


4. Damaged or Defective Products

We perform thorough quality checks before shipping, but in rare cases, if you receive:

  • A defective, damaged, or wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Share clear images of the issue with your order number to support@bharatiyasarees.com

  • We will replace the product or process a full refund at no additional cost to you.


5. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are available for:

  • Size issues (if applicable)

  • Product defects or shipping errors

If the desired item is unavailable, we will issue a store credit or refund as per your choice.


6. Cancellations

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if not yet shipped.
Once shipped, cancellations are not possible. You may still apply for a return after delivery, as per our policy.


7. Important Notes

  • Slight color variation may occur due to lighting, photography, or screen display differences — these are not considered defects.

  • Bharatiya Sarees reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet our policy conditions.

  • Refund timelines may vary depending on your payment provider.
